God's Sweet Love!

Who doesn't like gingerbread houses and gingerbread men! Well the kiddos in Commando's are loving all the gingerbread decor and The Sweet Love of God!

They love adding their art to the walls! Those Candy Canes look super yummy!

Love their prayer requests this week! Chocolate Cake! Gotta love children!

We added some more art to the outside of the classroom! Although the forget that a snowman isn't automatically called Olaf! :)

God's Colors

This was the Fall 2014 Theme: "God's Colors"
The curriculum I use wanted Polka Dots, I didn't feel polka dots were enough so I added the paint/rainbow mix with it.

 The children loved the oversize paint can, and the paint spilling!

 Painting our attendance was a blast as well!

My First Post!

Wow! I'm a blogger! I want to use this space to generate ideas to fellow Sunday School teachers! We have such a huge responsibility, and shouldn't be taken lightly. If school teachers can blog and share ideas, so can Sunday School Teachers! So on my first blog I want to share with you some of the amazing transitions my classroom has went thru for each new theme and quarter. 


Starting with "Down on The Farm"

As you can see I used store bought farm animals, and hand drew the barn & sunflowers.

Next, "God's Kingdom"
The Children LOVED the castle! We all enjoyed pretending to be knights, and trying on armor!

The Children enjoyed naming the animals, and "feeding" them every Sunday!

"Underwater"
Honestly who hasn't done an underwater theme before?!

"Rain Forest"
 I AM STILL IN LOVE WITH THAT TREE!
One of my favorite themes by far!
